Chris Oyakhilome Biography of the President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, a TV host, and an author. He is President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. and is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Oyakhilome Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born 7 December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He completed his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with a BSc.

AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

Chris Oyakhilome ministry
While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into the ministry. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry that has millions upon millions of associates around the world has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles program, BLW was the most prominent Christian television ministry in Africa. They stopped airing this programme in May 2004 after the former President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles should be ceased by churches.

The ministry of Pastor Chris is split into four distinct areas: publishing ministry, healing ministry television ministry, teaching ministry and TV ministry. These are the ministries was used to develop the healing school, the environment for miracles and Pastor Chris’s global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to investigate and enhance the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation celebrates and supports young Africans who have demonstrated leadership qualities by making a positive difference within their generation. This is accomplished by educating, empowerment of youth as well as mentorship.

The foundation recognizes the young leaders through an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. It is held on the Eve of each New Year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The winners receive an award from the President of BLW the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005 in order to help the most vulnerable, poorest orphaned and fortunate children in the world. These destitute children are supported by the foundation with participatory interventions, which include strengthening family programs as well as child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare International Foundation was created to improve the health and longevity for the local community. They also provide better emergency response when there are accidents or emergencies. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The foundation’s goal is to achieve this through community-based initiatives that promote health education, advocacy as well as advocacy. It also promotes national policies on trauma treatment.

The foundation has conducted more than a thousand First Aid safety, emergency response courses. They have taught thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers as well road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a Christian medical outreach that is dedicated to providing aid materials, medical assistance and education to people who are internally displaced and refugees in areas affected by natural or man-made catastrophes.

The outreach includes students, paramedics and christian doctors from every nation. These volunteers provide relief assistance, medical aid and sustainable health solutions for residents of communities and regions which are experiencing crisis.

VMC also offers services such as health care to areas in need and training for health professionals in the local area. VMC is open to anyone with the goal to improve health, and provide humanitarian assistance to those most in need.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a Christian non-profit organisation is committed to establishing production, distribution, and global distribution of the bible to all people of all ages and gender in the format and in the language they understand. Through this, the ministry helps them to learn about the Word of God and be able to experience the life-changing message that Jesus has for us.

BFAM has distributed thousands of Rhapsody Bibles for free of charge to people in prisons, hospitals communities, as well as public institutions across the world. These countries comprise Nigeria, Gambia Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. Through a network of Bible publishers and volunteers from all over the world, this outreach was possible.
