Chris Oyakhilome: Biography of the President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, a television host as well as an an author. He is President of Believers’LoveWorldIncorporated. It is also known to be Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded an BSc. in Architecture. AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry while he was still a student at AAU. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC expanded and was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization which has thousands of associates across the world.

Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. They stopped airing this programme in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by the churches.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry has four arms that include publishing ministry to heal, teaching ministry for television, and a television ministry for TV. He has also developed the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, an environment that encourages miracles and a healing school.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was created to explore and expand the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation celebrates, recognizes and supports young Africans who are exemplary leaders by positively influencing their generation. Chris Oyakhilome They do this by educating and empowerment of youth . The foundation acknowledges the achievements of these young leaders with an awards ceremony, The Future African Leaders Awards. This ceremony is held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena(LCA) Billings Way Oregun Ikeja. The winners are presented with an award by the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005, to reach the most vulnerable, poor children, orphaned and vulnerable who are destitute all over the world..

These destitute children are supported by the foundation through participatory interventions that incorporate family strengthening programmes as well as child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to improve the health status and life expectancy of communities and countries by encouraging improved emergency response services in the event of accidents or emergencies. The foundation aims to accomplish this feat through health education, advocacy and community-based initiatives while aiming to provide the necessary support to national policies in trauma care.

More than 1000 courses in first aid, safety and emergency management were conducted by the foundation. The foundation has trained over 1000 police officers, teachers as well as caregivers and road transportation workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global church that provides medical and aid to people who are internally displaced or have been forced to flee regions affected by natural or human-made disasters.

The outreach team includes paramedics, students, and Christian workers from all nations. The volunteers offer relief assistance, medical aid and sustainable health solutions for residents of communities and regions in need.

Bible For All Nation (BFAM).
Bible For All Mission, an organization of the Christian faith, is committed to the production, creation, and distribution of the Bible in a format and language that they can comprehend. By doing this, the mission assists them in learning the Word of God and be able to experience the life-changing message that Jesus has for us.

BFAM distributed many thousands of Rhapsody Bibles to people and communities, prisons as well as private and government institutions worldwide. It includes Philippines, Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria. Through a global network of Bible sponsors and volunteers from all over the world the outreach was feasible.
