Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He went to primary and secondary school. He then went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got a BSc. In Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is an international ministry that has millions of members and associates all across the globe.
