Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. He went to primary and secondary school. He then went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. In Architecture.

AAU also awarded the honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry while a student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was then known as the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
