Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born December 7, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He completed his secondary and primary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with an BSc.

While still in school at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters is in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide organization that has millions upon millions of associates across the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was founded in 2005 with the intention to reach vulnerable, poor orphaned children around the world.
Through participatory and sustainable programs, the foundation assists these families and children who are in need. They include children’s development programs, including childcare, strengthening family programs and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global church that provides aid and medical assistance to those who are internally displaced or refugees from areas affected by natural or manmade catastrophes.
The outreach includes paramedics, students and Christian doctors from all over the world. These volunteers provide relief assistance, medical care and sustainable healthcare solutions to those living in communities and areas which are experiencing crisis.
VMC also provides health services to under-served communities as well as training for local health workers. VMC accepts all individuals whose primary goal is to improve health and offer humanitarian assistance to those in greatest need.
