Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and author. He is president of the Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated, which is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on the 7 7 of December 1973 to Mr. and Mrs. Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. After his primary and second education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him an BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

While still enrolled at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in the ministry. At the time the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome YFC has grown to become the biggest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with millions of members and associates all around the world.

With the 2002-themed miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. The program was cancelled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

Through participatory and sustainable interventions, the foundation assists these children and families who are in need. This includes child development programmes for childcare, family strengthening programs as well as InnerCity Mission for Children School.

Trauma Care International Foundation
