Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family to be born. After his secondary and primary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

AAU also conferred him with an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was before married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

While still enrolled at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship which is which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was known at that time as Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC grew, and it became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on television in Africa. The show was canceled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004. The InnerCity Mission for children is a religiously-based not-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the organization was founded to assist the needy, needy and orphaned children living in the poverty of their homes.
