Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. Chris Oyakhilome He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned a BSc.
AAU has also conferred on him with an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married with Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began exploring ministry while still at AAU. At the time the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC grew and was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of associates and followers across the world.
BLW became the most prominent Christian ministry on television across Africa through its”Atmosphere for Miracles” program in 2002. The program was pulled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry comprises four distinct parts: publishing ministry (healing ministry) and television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry).
