Chris Oyakhilome. Biography and the philanthropy of the president of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and an author. He is also the president of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 of the 7 of December 1973 to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. Following his primary and secondary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

AAU also conferred him an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry
While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing, and eventually was the largest college organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the main location for the church. Chris Oyakhilome Family Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

With the 2002-themed miracles, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. They stopped airing the program in the month of May 2004 when the president of the time, Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on television.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry is divided into four parts including healing ministry, publishing ministry teaching ministry, and television ministry. He has also created the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, which is an environment for miracles, as well as healing schools.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative created to explore and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation recognizes and encourages youngsters Africans who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills by influencing their generation positively. They do this by educating and empowerment of youth .

The foundation honors the young leaders by presenting them with awards called The Next African Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja the ceremony is five years old. The President of BLW – Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, presents the award to winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005 to reach the poorest, most vulnerable orphaned, least fortunate children of the world..

This foundation aids these poor children and their communities by offering an inclusive and sustainable program like child development programs to support family development and childcare programs for innercity missions for children’s schools, as well as other programs.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare Foundation was created in order to increase the lifespan and health status of communities in the local area. The foundation aims to accomplish this goal through health education advocacy, community-based and other programs while positioning to provide support for national policies regarding trauma treatment.

Over a thousand hours of training for emergency safety and security have been given by the foundation. Record has it that, they succeeded in educating thousands of school pupils, law enforcement officers and teachers, caregivers, and road transport employees.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps is a worldwide christian medical outreach which is dedicated to providing relief supplies, medical assistance and health education for refugees and internally displaced persons in areas affected by natural or human-made catastrophes.

The network is consisting of paramedics Christian health workers, and students from all over the world. The volunteers offer relief aid, medical treatment and sustainable health solutions for those living in communities and areas in need.

Chris Oyakhilome Bible For All Nation (BFAM).
Bible For All Mission, an organization that is christian and non-profit, is committed to the creation, production, and distribution of the Bible in a format and language that they understand. In this way they can hear God’s Word and experience his life-changing message.

BFAM has provided hundreds of Rhapsody Bibles free for people who are in prisons, hospitals and communities as well as government institutions around the world. The countries that have received the Bibles include Nigeria, Gambia Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. Oyakhilome The mission was able achieve this feat through a strongly knitted worldwide network of Bible sponsors and volunteers.
