NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire– The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.
“It is thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels of 2019,” stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel, and before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers month after month; We’re thrilled to witness this positive change and expect a continued upward trajectory for years and months to come.”
