NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over 2019, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

In line with in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.
