NEW YORK – Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. https://penzu.com/p/382d661a http://y8space.com/members-2/neve-paritzkitdin711bb/activity/4351433/ Israel welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that’s a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before.

Canada with 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn’t far behind the United States.

Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director for Canada for Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that it was exciting to see tourism from Canada to Israel returning. “We aren’t far off our record for 2019, and we anticipate that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling abroad.”

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019 and this included 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they have been vaccinated. It has already hosted more than 600,000.
