NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over 2019.

Canada is home to 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August, isn’t far behind the United States.

Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in 2019 and this included 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless if they are vaccinated. The country has already hosted over 600,000.
