NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from America. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over the year before.

Canada is not far from the United States of America, is on track for surpassing the tourist numbers to Israel. It had 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international tourists in 2019 including 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they’re immunized. Israel already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
