NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. “It is thrilling to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers in 2019” said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is our most important market for Israel’s inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to have witnessed such a positive shift, and we expect this trend to last for many months and years.”
Canada is on track to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.
