Videogames have always filled with enthusiasm entire young generations, for their realism, interactivity, graphics and more. A videogame has many facets which can't be taken at once by the player, but which certainly we would like to know and understand. Well then, why not investigating?

With this spirit was born the event "The technology behind videogames", which surely doesn't claim to be exhaustive and to explain deeply the backstage of the whole world of the videogames but it only wants to give some cues useful as starting points for a personal study and a broadening of the knowledge of an exterminated and fascinating field into which any professional would like work.

Furthermore, creating a very good videogame needs a team of people, with different culture and knowledge, integrated together: hence developing a videogame is also a stimulating experience from the human point of view.

The aim of "The technology behind videogames", the 7th event organized by the EESTEC LC Cosenza, is to open a glimmer in the videogames world and to raise curiosity and personal initiative into the participants to enter in this extraordinary and fantastic universe.
